It’s much easier to shop online than it is to go to a physical store, and one of the most popular online stores is Amazon. Amazon’s prices are often lower than big-name stores like Walmart and Target, and you don’t have to drive to them. In addition, Amazon offers even more perks that make it tempting to never enter a store again. Here are a few:

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime comes with a variety of advantages. The main feature is free two-day shipping, which can pay for itself over time. Prime also gives you access to free music, movies, ebooks, and more entertainment options for the whole family. The annual fee is $99, but a monthly option for $10.99 is also available. You can get started with a free 30-day trial, and you can cancel anytime.

Subscribe and Save

This is a good option for household supplies, personal care items, and other things you buy over and over. Instead of buying an item normally, you can subscribe and receive a discount. The standard discount is five percent, but if you sign up for five or more items, you can get a 15 percent discount. The shipments are scheduled regularly, and you can choose how often you want to receive it, over a period of one to six months. You can cancel a subscription anytime, even right after you order it, which allows you to get the discount on a one-time purchase. Subscribe and Save items arrive on the same day every month, regardless of when you order them, but you can pick the day. You can view eligible items here.

Coupons

Amazon has its own coupon page, allowing you to save on thousands of items. Simply click “Clip Coupon,” add the item to your cart, and it will automatically apply to your purchase.

Today’s Deals

You can view Today’s Deals at the top of the page, which includes a Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals. Given the limited time and quantity, it’s tempting to buy right away, but be sure to research other brands before making a purchase, as you might be able to find a better deal.

Amazon Family + Mom

These two programs are free for Prime Members. The biggest benefit is a 20 percent Subscribe and Save discount on diapers. You can also receive discounts on Amazon’s baby registry and receive exclusive coupons.

Amazon Warehouse

Amazon Warehouse is Amazon’s site for open box goods. These are refurbished items that are still in good condition, and they’re much cheaper than if they were purchased new.

Price Trackers

Prices on Amazon are always changing, so it can be hard to know if you’re getting the best price. Luckily, there are sites that track prices of everything on Amazon. With sites like camelcamelcamel, you can view the current price, price history, and the average price, and it will tell you when an item is at its lowest price. You can even receive email updates when the price changes for specific items.

If you have time, you should also compare Amazon’s prices to other websites to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Once you get used to shopping online, you’ll wonder how you ever got by without it.
